A great man once said "Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe"--so thats what I did. I know few are wondering so here goes--the app works on Java and it scans whatever folder I give as input and finds the music info like artist name, etc.
This is pretty much similar to an app called Shazam but then again that's closed source so I had to figure out the code to use and make it rapid. The difference of course is that unlike Shazam this app allowed me to sort my entire library very quickly files took 5 mins even if they had absolutely no tag information. The database was originally build using the ID3 tags of existing songs, stripped the tags off them and then ran my app over it to Hyperdata USB-IDE HARD DISK the speed and efficiency.

This app obviously consumed a lot of time to work on and I identified many new requirements esp. The judge asked me why I was using English music than traditional languages.
I hadn't added any localization code and realised that my team screwed up in this aspect. So, we finally dropped this app.
Now I know that Project Nyquist sounds pretty cool but thats the past. And the code is not open for now as my friends were stakeholders too!
Infact we had to name it as MKB MusicBox after the first letter of our last names simply Hyperdata USB-IDE HARD DISK they were stakeholders and didn't completely agree with my idea to call it Nyquist. Which is why I am willing to write about my personal projects everything other than Nyquist below.
The web server I use can be accessible only in my own machine as localhost and I had to port forward to view it from an external IP outside my LAN. However, every 24 hours my router got me a new password making it nearly impossible for me to statically access my personal web server.
LXer: Broken link?: Looking for a small Linux that will run with a GUI in 4MB of RAM
So this app which I made allowed me to access my laptop from almost anywhere in the world Hyperdata USB-IDE HARD DISK because you need an internet connection, obviously!! I also added some cool features one of which allowed me to control my laptop using something called a VNC server google it if you want to know what it is and also I could play music in my laptop from anywhere.
I once asked my friend purposely to go to my room I'll come in a second and used my mobile browser to turn on the music in my room. She was totally psyched!! Hyperdata USB-IDE HARD DISK

ScreenieHelper -- Similar to an app called team viewer, except it took images on each action instead and also wrote a small file called steps. I added a button called Recreate Scenario which took this file as input and performed all the steps that were recorded.
This way I could Hyperdata USB-IDE HARD DISK just the steps file to any friend and he would be able to see what I did in front of his eyes. This flopped because some people keep start menu at the top, left or right side and when running the steps it used to screw up.
Also, different OS was a serious issue. I ran it in my dedicated web server so I can upload a RAR file which has password and it will email me the password when it finds it.
